New Android Powered Nokia Normandy Shots Point to WP-Styled UI, Lumia-Like Body!

Ever since we caught our first glimpses of the alleged Android-powered Nokia Normandy, leaks have been popping up left and right. While some are quick to label a Nokia-built Android device as the Holy Grail of smartphones, others aren’t too impressed with the interface shots seen till date.

Now, from the recent Twitter leakers @evleaks and @vizileaks, we have a very clear shot of the alleged device’s outer casing, as well as new leaked screenshots that appear to indicate two general ways in which the Normandy’s UI can be navigated.

The first interface mode is a tile-based interface, highly reminiscent of Windows Phone’s live tiles. It’s unknown at this time whether these tiles are dynamic. But given Android’s support for widgets, that can be expected.

Several key details spotted in previous leaks are still present in both interface modes. The device’s status bar still shows off its dual-SIM capabilities, and the UI featured in the first interface mode seems consistent with both the leaked render and leaked shot we already saw.

In addition to the UI, we now have a much clearer view of the alleged device’s body. Styled remarkably similarly to Nokia’s current Lumia phones, it’s not hard to see a family resemblance.
